Our Story
VEPEAG was established in October 1997 by individual Farmers and Exporters. The main activities and the operational areas of the association are the production of vegetables all year round for international and local markets as well as the supply of seeds and agro-chemicals to producers. Sweet potatoes, Okra, Chili, Tinda, Shallot and Turia are the main vegetables cultivated.
Membership currently stands at over a 1000 and can be found in seven regions of the country namely, Greater Accra, Eastern, Volta, Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Central and Northern Region. VEPEAG operates a secretariat in Accra and relates with the regions through the regional executives of the association.

To promote and establish Ghana as an important vegetable producer and exporter on the world market under a brand name synonymous with quality and consistency.
Our Mission
To assist members and individuals in the proper cultivation and production of vegetables and the marketing of such vegetables in accordance with acceptable standards. It is also the mission of the Association to create and maintain an atmosphere of co-operation among members to establish a supply chain for the supply of quality fresh vegetables to the domestic and international markets.
